Press Release
City of Menlo Park Continues Support for Residents at Rosener House
January, 2011
Menlo Park, CA (January, 2011) - The City of Menlo Park has been financially assisting the operations of Rosener House since 1994, and this year has given a grant of $11,000 to help Menlo Park residents to access the services at Rosener House. About 25% of the Rosener House participants are Menlo Park residents, the largest percentage of any city in the Rosener House service area, which is from Millbrae through Sunnyvale. The City of Menlo Park's support recognizes the importance of Rosener House as a caring and affordable option for older adults who need assistance but wish to remain in their own homes. It is estimated that 1/3 of Menlo Park residents are over 50, and as people age, they may need services such as Rosener House.
