Visitors to Rosener Open House Learn about Services and Participate in Activities

Thursday, November 7th, 2013

On Saturday, November 2, over 60 community members attended an Open House at Rosener House Adult Day Services, where staff members invited them to participate in typical Rosener House activities, tour the program, and learn about Rosener House services.

Volunteers from the National Charity League provided refreshments and helped to greet visitors.  Other volunteers along with social work staff and nursing staff gave tours and answered questions about the program.   Program Manager Dao Do gave a talk on “Brain Games and Whole Person Wellness” to start the day.

Activities that visitors could participate in included Physical Therapy, Cooking Class with our Occupational Therapist, Art, Drumming Circle, Songwriting, and Brain Games.  Family members are able to experience some of the activities that their loved ones would participate in when they are enrolled in the program.

Seeing the Rosener House program in action is one of the best ways for families to be introduced to the value of regular attendance!

If you missed the Open House, you can come for a tour any day of the week to see the program in action—just give us a call at 650-322-0126 and we will be pleased to show you around and answer any questions you may have!
