Samuel Merritt Nurses at Crane Place

Friday, October 18th, 2013

Our Samuel Merritt nursing students have been doing an excellent job of health promotion at Little House, Rosener House and Meals on Wheels.

Come join them at Little House every Thursday morning until Thanksgiving week for: snacks, recipes, screenings, and yet another creative and fun activity to promote healthy living.

What they have also undertaken is to bring the  FUN to our Crane Place Apartments residents in Menlo Park. Click here to take a look.

Intern Has Fantastic Experience at Little House

Thursday, August 15th, 2013

Aloha!

My name is Nadia Le’i and I am a recent graduate from Menlo College. I currently work at Menlo as the Advancement Coordinator while interning with Little House as a part time Communications Intern.

Working with the Little House team has been an amazing experience! I’ve learned so much, but none of the knowledge gained can surpass the feeling of being able to make a difference.

Peninsula Volunteers Inc has an amazing mission and vision and I am grateful to be a part of it.

Nadia, we’re very pleased and proud to have you with us!

Peninsula Volunteers has several internship opportunities in fields as diverse as: management, marketing, health care, information systems, food service, events, and more. If you’re interested in having as wonderful an experience as Nadia, call Mary Rached, Community Volunteer Coordinator, at 650.323. 0129 or email her: mrached@peninsulavolunteers.org
