About Speaker

Jere King is a retired high –tech executive who completed an Encore Fellowship with Abilities United, a Palo Alto nonprofit focused on community inclusion and contribution that serves children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities.  Before retiring, Jere was a vice president of marketing at Cisco Systems for over 15 years until November 2011.  During the past 35 years, she held a variety of executive positions at technology companies such as IBM, Auto-trol Technology, SDRC, Autodesk, and Cisco.   Jere brings significant experience in marketing, management, and communications to her encore career serving several nonprofit organizations.
