Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. (PVI) Meals on Wheels presents the Mayors For Meals Day as a part of its March For Meals campaign. Mayors from Atherton, Belmont, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, and Woodside have been invited to participate in the event to show their support for our community's seniors.

Community experts in older adult issues such as memory, transportation, housing, law, finance, and crimes against older adults will convene on Sunday, May 23rd, at the Vital Aging: Achieving Your Best Life Conference. Keynote speaker, author and longevity expert Dr. Laura Carstensen will talk about her new book, A Long Bright Future and provide insight on how the community can enhance the well-being of the aging population.
