Nutrition & Meals
Peninsula Volunteers has led the nation in developing programs and properties to support the welfare of the senior members of the community, and has provided services for more than 60 years.
The meals cooked in the Peninsula Volunteers kitchens at Little House Activity Center provide 1/3 of the recommended daily allowance of nutritional requirements. The meals are low in fat, salt, sugar and provide adequate dietary fiber. Designed by our own nutritionist, the menus emphasize the use of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables.
