Staff
The Rosener House professional staff of 17 has a combined total of over 150 years experience in services for seniors. Staff members have a wide variety of educational backgrounds, from psychology to gerontology, nursing, and other specific disciplines such as Music Therapy and Recreational Therapy.
Positions include the following:
- Director oversees the operation of the program, responsible for planning, carrying out and evaluating the program's goals and the organization's goals.
- Social Worker performs intake interview and assessment of new participants, consults with family members, coordinates family support groups.
- Support Services Coordinator assists social worker with intakes, coordinates transportation and special events.
- Program Coordinator plans, implements and evaluates the therapeutic and recreational activity program, oversees daily operation of Rosener House.
- Assistant Program Coordinator assists program coordinator in planning, leading, and evaluating activities.
- Dementia Services Coordinator develops and leads activities suitable to a variety of needs and functioning levels for participants with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia.
- Activity Leaders and Program Assistants assist in planning and implementation of activities, assist with participant supervision and personal care.
- Nurse performs health assessments, develops initial individual plan of care, monitors general health of participants.
- Certified Nursing Assistant Coordinates and provides personal care assistance, assists nurse.
- Physical Therapist evaluates participant needs, develops and carries out treatment plan for physical therapy.
- Speech Therapist evaluates participant needs, provides speech pathology services.
- Occupational Therapist evaluates participant needs for occupational therapy, including daily living tasks and use of assistive devices, develops and carries out treatment plan.
- Administrative Assistant manages office duties.
