Volunteers are the heart of our organization. They support all our programs from our headquarters in Menlo Park and enhance our services in the mid-Peninsula.  Whether it's Meals on Wheels, Rosener House or Little House, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. has many ways for you to get involved!

To become a Volunteer:

Complete the volunteer application as described below and submit it for review. After reviewing your application, we will contact you to set up an interview/orientation.

Step 1: 
For adults (age 18 and over), click on this link and fill out the Adult Volunteer Application Form. Hit Continue to submit.    For youth (under age 18), click on this link and fill out the Youth Volunteer Application Form. Print the page for your parent's signature, and then hit Continue to submit. 
Step 2:
Contact Victoria Cormack at for volunteer forms. Sign these and bring them with you to the interview. 
For Meals on Wheels new prospects ONLY: Contact Victoria Cormack at and bring with a Driver's License and proof of insurance to the interview.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Mondays

Little House Activity Center

Have a little time? Lots of ways to help!

  • Customer Service at the Little Shop: Keep shop tidy, assist in customer purchases.
  • Front Desk Greeters: Greet members with a smile, give them directions and information.
  • Cafe Lunch Servers: Help get cafe ready for lunch service. 
Most assignments are 2 - 3 hours, on a once/week basis, Mon. - Fri.

Rosener House Adult Day Services

Activities Program Volunteer

  • Administrative Support
  • Assist staff with various activities that include:

- Serving lunch
- Arts and Crafts
- Data Entry and Office help
- Performances; Singers, dancers, musicians
- Baking and Cooking
- Gardening
- Socializing with participants

Volunteer Mondays

Meals on Wheels (serving most of San Mateo County ONLY)

Volunteer Drivers needed! Check in on a homebound senior. Bring a meal and a smile!

  • Deliver once a week or on-call, Mon- Fri,  9:30am-12pm,  to 10-15 clients in the mid-Peninsula area. Pick up meals from our Menlo Park facility by 9:30am, or from our new San Bruno pick-up location. Volunteers provide their own cars, gas, proof of insurance and release for background check. Minimum 6 month commitment preferred.

Learn How to Engage Individuals and Groups in Volunteering!
Report to the Director of Community Volunteer Program at Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. which engages over 200 volunteers in 3 programs for seniors.  Position requires 6-8hr/wk; some projects may be done remotely.
