Learn about the differences between normal aging and dementia, the basics of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, the diagnostic process, and management of the disease.  Learn about resources offered by the Alzheimer’s Association, keys for planning for the future, and how family members and caregivers can help the person with dementia.

This presentation will allow time for questions & answers. Respite available with RSVP.

Peninsula Volunteers Rosener House offers an enriched social and recreational day program in a caring, protective environment.  We promote independence and dignity for seniors facing challenges and limitations, including Alzheimer’s, dementia, early memory loss, stroke, Parkinson’s, and other chronic conditions.
