Enhancing Quality of Life
Rosener House Adult Day Services offers participants many choices of meaningful and fulfilling things to do during the day, all of which involve professional staff facilitation and social interaction among peers.
Using a holistic approach to care, the structured program includes physical, occupational and speech therapies, health monitoring and medication management by a Registered Nurse, counseling by a Social Worker, professional music therapy, nutritious lunch and snacks, art classes, recreational, education, and social activities led by professional staff and assisted by volunteers. Activities are age-appropriate and planned by energetic, creative activity leaders with backgrounds in recreation and social services.
Bringing older adults with challenges and limitations together in a daytime social setting for therapies, health monitoring, and recreation is a cost effective and quality alternative to home care or assisted living.
Services for caregivers include weekly caregiver support groups, individual counseling, health promotion and health education opportunities, and referrals to other community resources.
